Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring an active OH or compact RN license and expertise with Epic.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Night shift schedule with 3 12-hour shifts per week, 7:00pm-7:30am
• Patient population includes those requiring medical-surgical and telemetry care
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must work at least every other holiday
• Candidates must pass the ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation
• Assignments at any Cleveland Clinic location cannot exceed 18 consecutive months
• A minimum 6-month gap is required before accepting another assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
• Holiday coverage is required on a rotating basis

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license in hand
• Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required prior to start
• Experience with Epic charting system required
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in Med/Surg Tele required
