Seeking a Board-Certified Geriatric Psychiatrist to provide in-patient and telehealth psychiatric care for elderly patients at a hospital in Southern California. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, managing psychiatric consults, and offering flexible scheduling with occasional weekend work. This position supports both inpatient rounding and optional outpatient clinics as an independent contractor.
Our medical group is a well-established physician founded and physician-led psychiatric group serving Southern California since 2010.
We are currently seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to join our diverse and seasoned group of Board-Certified Providers to support our Los Angeles County partners.

Responsibilities:
- Provide in-patient psychiatric care, rounding in-person with support from a multi-disciplinary team of Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners
- Provide collaborative and efficient patient care by utilizing the hospital EMR.
- Availability to provide telehealth services, treating patients via video/phone.
- Equipped to manage all aspects of Psychiatric care consults, psychiatric holds, discharge disposition, etc.
Position Details and Qualifications:
- Will support Motion Picture Hospital in Calabasas, CA.
- Looking for someone who enjoys working with the older population.
- Work Schedule: Flexible Monday to Friday (doesn't need to finish the 8-hour shift at the hospital) and at least 1 weekend a month.
- Inpatient Rounding Position.
- Opportunity for supporting outpatient clinic. (optional)
- Will work with Independent Contractor providers.
- Will see around 12-15 patients.
- Starting Salary is at $350K annually.
- 1099 Independent Contractor.
