American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with recent trauma experience and telemetry skills for critical care assignments requiring NH or compact licensure.
Responsibilities- Work in a 10-bed hospital ICU focused on critical care nursing
- Care for critically unstable medical and surgical patients with advanced technological monitoring
- Patient ratios are 2:1 or 1:1 based on acuity, isolation needs, and RN experience
- Use of electric therapeutic beds, emergency call systems, cardiac monitoring, and critical care equipment
- 12-hour shifts available for days or nights, with three shifts per week
- Every other weekend is required
- Rotating holidays are part of the schedule
- Responsible for rapid recognition and management of life-threatening complications in critically ill patients
- Emphasis on total patient care and family support in the ICU environment
- Team-oriented work environment focused on 24-hour critical care coverage
- Active NH or compact RN license with proof of state residency
- Minimum 1.5 years of recent ICU experience, including telemetry
- Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience within the last two years
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- CCRN certification preferred
- No local candidates permitted; must reside at least 75 miles from the facility
