The position involves working both in an office and residential settings within a non-profit organization in Manhattan.

We are currently looking to fill the position of a Behavioral Intervention Specialist to work with one of our non-profit OPWDD (Office for People With Developmental Disabilities) clients in Manhattan, supporting individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). While prior experience working with the IDD population is highly valued, it is not mandatory for this role.
Behavioral Intervention Specialist meet the following requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Psychology
- 2-5 years of experience creating behavior support plans for individuals with developmental disabilities or within the Mental Health Population
- BCBA Credential or coursework involving Applied Behavior Analysis
About the Behavioral Intervention Specialist Role:
- We are currently seeking a Behavioral Intervention Specialist to work with one of our non-profit OPWDD (Office for People With Developmental Disabilities) clients in Manhattan, supporting individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). Behavioral Intervention Specialist Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM
- Location: Central office in Manhattan, with fieldwork required four days a week at residential facilities (ICF/IRA settings)
- Compensation: $48/hour
