We are seeking two experienced and board-certified Hematologists/Oncologists for a long-term locum tenens position near Spokane, WA. This exciting opportunity is for a minimum of six months, with the potential for extension. Position Overview Specialty: Hematology/Oncology Start Date: ASAP Location: Near Spokane, WA Assignment Type: Locum Tenens, with a focus on continuity of care for established patients Practice Setting: Both inpatient and outpatient Patient Load: Approximately 14 patients per day Shifts: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Call Requirement: None Role Details Department Needs: Temporary vacancy due to long-term staffing needs. Patient Focus: Assigned patients only; no acute leukemia cases involved. Support and Supervision: Expected to supervise advanced practice providers. Resident or teaching supervision is not required. Facility and Credentialing Requirements Board Certification: Required in Hematology/Oncology Licensing: Must hold or be eligible for a Washington medical license or qualify under the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC). Credentialing Timeframe: Estimated at 45-60 days Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Aria and Epic systems Privileges: No temporary privileges are available; full credentials required Additional Details Holiday Observance: New Year's Day, July 4th, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day Facility Level: This is a non-trauma, non-PEDs level facility Compensation and Benefits Insurance Coverage: Provided by vendor Travel: Nearest airport located within accessible distance; lodging recommendations provided Why This Opportunity?
