Responsibilities:
- Provide direct inpatientcare and manage complex medical cases
- Oversee patients throughoutthe continuum of care: pre-admission, inpatient, and post-op
- Collaborate with surgical,specialty, and nursing teams to ensure high-quality care
- Participate in patientsafety and quality improvement initiatives
- Document and communicateeffectively using the electronic medical record system
Requirements:
- MD or DO from an accreditedmedical school
- Board Certified or BoardEligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Unrestricted medical licenseto practice in the State of North Carolina
- Valid BLS, ACLS, and PALScertifications
- Demonstrated experience inhospital medicine, including care coordination and acute case management
- Strong clinical judgment andability to make timely, critical decisions
- Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills
- Strong organizational,problem-solving, and teamwork abilities
- Proficiency in EMR systemsand basic computer skills
