American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a hospital surgical services role requiring recent Level 1 or 2 trauma experience and a NH or compact RN license.
Responsibilities- Work in hospital Operating Room suites within a surgical services department
- Supports both inpatient and outpatient surgical, diagnostic, and invasive procedures for patients of all ages, from infants to geriatric
- RN to patient ratio is 1:1 in the OR
- Surgical specialties predominantly include orthopedics and trauma, with additional cases in ENT, cataract removal, and C-sections
- Day shift schedule with 40 hours per week
- Evening, holiday, and weekend call required
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary OR team including RNs, first assists, CSTs, and assistive personnel
- Care for a diverse population across a range of surgical services and procedures
- Call responsibilities include evenings, holidays, and weekends
- No local candidates are permitted due to a 75-mile radius requirement
- Active NH or compact RN license required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience within the past 2 years required
- Must be willing to train in ENT, cataract, and C-section surgical procedures
- Local candidates not eligible; must live more than 75 miles from the facility
