The Venue Kitchen Manager oversees kitchen operations in large venues, including banquets, concessions, and catering, ensuring compliance with health codes and managing staff. This role involves coaching, training, hiring, and assisting with financial management such as P&L, inventory, and cost control. The position requires at least three years of leadership experience in food service and a polished, confident leadership style within a fast-paced, diverse environment.
We are in search of an Executive Chef with at least 3 years of experience in large banquets, concessions, catering, or venue operations. If you are hungry to create a great culture in a fast paced and operationally diverse environment, we want to talk to you!
Kitchen Manager Responsibilities:
- Coach, train, hire, correct staff
- Assist in managing the P&L, inventories, ordering, costs
- Ensure all local health codes are enforced with compliance
- Communicate consistently and timely with clients
Kitchen Manager Requirements:
- Must have leadership level experience of at least 3 years in catering, banquets, or concessions or restaurants
- Able to handle a fairly large staff and complex operation
- Personable, Polished, Confident Leader, Humble, Open Minded
- Clean records, no DUIs
