Job DescriptionThe Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will deliver direct patient care with a focus on pulmonary function testing and the initiation of CPAP devices. The RRT will support requests for durable medical equipment such as oxygen concentrators and nebulizers, assist in training patients on inhaler usage, set up patients with DME equipment, and collaborate closely with physicians.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care services in NICU/PICU settings.
- Conduct pulmonary function testing and initiate CPAP devices.
- Support requests for durable medical equipment supplies.
- Assist patients in training on inhaler usage.
- Set up patients with DME equipment.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams.
- RRT or CRT from NRBC - Required
- New Jersey Respiratory Therapist license (RCP) - Required
- BLS and ACLS certifications - Required
- 1 year of hospital or physician office experience - Required
- Graduate of a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program - Required
- Computer literacy - Required
