The Internal Medicine Physician will provide comprehensive medical services to students from Pre-K through Grade 12 within a school setting on a one-year contract. Responsibilities include conducting sports physicals, managing medical emergencies, maintaining confidential health records, and collaborating with school staff to promote student health. The role requires a licensed MD with certifications including BLS, ACLS, and DEA, and experience in pediatrics or general practice is preferred.
Adelphi is seeking a licensed and experienced Medical Doctor to serve as a School Physician for a 1-year contract term. The successful candidate will be duly licensed to practice medicine in the State of New Jersey and will be responsible for providing medical services to students in Pre-K to Grade 12

• Collaborate with school staff to promote student health and well-being.
• Document and make referrals for other medically necessary services.
• Maintain medical records, document assessments, treatments, and referrals, ensuring the confidentiality and privacy of students' health information.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide appropriate care as needed.
• Stay current with developments in the field of school medicine and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Other duties as assigned by the administration.
