Registered Nurse (Med/Surg) provides independent nursing care for medical-surgical patients across the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation—including medication administration, monitoring, documentation, patient/family education, delegation, and management of complex clinical situations. Role expects adherence to OneCHRISTUS competencies and ANA standards, with emphasis on addressing psychological, cultural, and social needs and participating in long-range care planning. Requires RN licensure (or compact), BLS certification, preferably a BSN and ~1 year med/surg experience; full-time night shift (7PM–7AM).
