Locum tenens Physician Assistant in Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery; M–F shifts with 1–2 weekday/weekend calls monthly; hospital 95%/clinic 5%; adult patients; pay $100–$135/hr; shift-based contract (locum). - First assist OR experience - Experience in general CV/thoracic surgery and CABG - Experience with valvular repair/replacement - ACLS certification - Ability to manage 5–10 hospital patients/day, 0–3 admissions, 2–7 ICU patients

  • Monday-Friday shifts with 1-2 weekdays and weekends call per month
  • 5-10 hospital patients per day with 0-3 admissions and 2-7 ICU
  • Hospital 95% and office/clinic 5% setting
  • First assist experience required for OR and acute care/ICU
  • General CV/thoracic surgery and coronary artery bypass required
  • Valvular repair and replacement procedures required
  • ACLS certification required
  • Adult patients only
