We are seeking a qualified Gastroenterologist to provide locum tenens coverage at a healthcare facility in the state of Virginia, located in a central area. Position Details: Specialty: Gastroenterology Location: Central Virginia (near Haynesville, VA) Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing, with flexibility for duration (short-term coverage through at least 12/31/2024) Shift Type: 24-hour on-call shifts (7 AM to 7 AM) Patient Population: Inpatient Patient Volume: Approximately 3 patients per day Practice Setting: Hospital Support Staff: Available at the facility, including trained medical staff to assist with patient care EMR: Meditech (with plans to transition to Expanse) Required Procedures: ERCP and EUS are mandatory; must be comfortable performing these advanced procedures during on-call shifts.
