The Haul Unit Operator is responsible for safely operating haul trucks to transport materials within a plant or quarry, performing daily inspections, and adhering to safety protocols. This role requires the ability to work independently or in a team, a strong safety focus, and reliability in attendance and quality of work. The position may involve exposure to varying environmental conditions and requires passing physical, drug, and background checks.

What You'll Be Doing
- Operate haul truck to transport materials safely and efficiently within the plant or quarry
- Perform daily pre-operational inspections and report any issues
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Follow all safety protocols and site procedures
- Assist with general plant or quarry duties as needed

Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level
