- Contract Duration: 54 weeks
- Shifts per Week: 5 (Monday Friday)
- Shift Duration: 8-hour days (7:00 AM 3:00 PM)
- Facility Features: 19 anesthesia rooms, advanced charting system (iPro)
- MD to CRNA Ratio: 1:4
- M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited College of Medicine
- Board Certification in Anesthesiology or completion of an approved anesthesia residency
- Active, unrestricted North Carolina physician license
- ECFMG and FLEX (if applicable)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical anesthesia experience
- Direct and coordinate activities within the Anesthesia Department
- Deliver medical management for patients undergoing surgical and procedural care
- Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia assessments and verify patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients and families
- Perform induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitor patients physiological condition throughout procedures
- Perform clinical interventions as needed
- Supervise Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) and perform anesthesia cases
