Responsibilities include patient admissions, daily rounds, managing rapid responses, and collaborating with intensivists in an open ICU. Candidates must be Board Certified or Eligible in Internal or Family Medicine with relevant certifications and licenses.

Practice Highlights
Inpatient care on a 7 on / 7 off schedule (7 AM 7 PM)
Make daily rounds on assigned patients (average per physician)
Admit patients and manage rapid responses/codes
Collaborate with intensivists in an open ICU setting with 24/7 consultation
Conduct patient assessments, histories, physicals, and documentation using Paragon EMR
Participate in a hospitalist team managing patients per day collectively
No on-call duties
Work in a non-trauma designated hospital with strong infrastructure
Candidate Requirements
Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (must be Board Certified within 2 years; new graduates accepted)
NY medical license or willingness to obtain
Clean malpractice and license history
DEA, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Must be open to full-time, 7 on / 7 off schedule
Comfortable working in an open ICU with intensivist support
Not accepting Locums candidates, Visa candidates, or 1099 candidates
Schedule & Coverage
7 on / 7 off schedule (7 AM 7 PM)
No on-call duties
Team-based management of patients per day
Open ICU with intensivist support
Certification Requirements
ACLS, BLS, DEA, PALS, Board Certified/Board Eligible
NY State License required
Must be Board Certified within 2 years of contract start
