Connected Health Care is partnering with a leading home health and hospice organization in Boise, ID, to fill a Local Travel RN Director of Clinical Services position. This is a 13-week contract role with weekly compensation up to $3150 based on experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled RN with leadership experience in hospice and home health to guide a team, ensure clinical excellence, and make a meaningful impact in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and direct the agency’s ongoing clinical functions.
- Establish and communicate the agency’s vision and mission to the team.
- Train, develop, and assign clinical staff to provide top-quality patient care.
- Provide guidance and oversight for clinical quality management.
- Support the medical director with nursing and clinical responsibilities.
- Perform Q&A, assist with medications, and ensure documentation accuracy.
- Attend and participate in meetings, conferences, and continuing education.
- Conduct field work as needed and provide mentorship in the field.
- Serve on-call as part of leadership coverage.
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a current, unencumbered Idaho license.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Current Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in hospice and palliative medicine (Required).
- Minimum 2 years’ management or supervisory experience (Required).
- Hospice experience: 1-3 years required; home health experience preferred.
- Proven ability to lead, train, and develop clinical staff.
- Strong clinical skills for mentoring, training, and field support.
- Knowledge of business growth, financial management, and personnel development.
- Leadership qualities: ability to inspire, motivate, set expectations, and empower team members.
