This position is for a permanent neurosurgeon in Columbus, Georgia, specializing in trauma-focused neurological surgery with a high volume of spine, trauma, and cranial cases. The role includes collaboration with a full OR support team at a Level II Trauma Center, managing inpatient and outpatient care, and maintaining medical records in compliance with regulatory standards. Compensation includes a 2-year guaranteed salary, productivity bonuses, signing bonus, and comprehensive benefits.
Employed Neurosurgeon (Trauma-Focused) Columbus, GA Take over a thriving practice with strong hospital support and immediate volume. Position Highlights Join 1 experienced neurosurgeon and a full OR support team Level II Trauma Center with growing neurosurgical demand Desired subspecialty: Trauma Spine Oncology Expected case mix: 75% Spine / 15% Trauma / 10% Cranial Average of 4045 cases/month with 35 OR days/week Common procedures: ACF, PLIF, lumbar discectomy, craniotomy, VP shunt Support from PAs, NPs, dedicated scrub techs & neuro-trained OR staff 7-10 days of call Hospitalist team manages inpatient care Outpatient follow-ups handled by physician + APPs Midlevel support for clinic, first assist, and rounding Take over active referral stream (2530 new patient referrals daily) Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards Engage in community education and outreach to promote cardiovascular health Compensation & Benefits National/Regional Median Average Compensation 2-Year Guarantee + WRVU productivity for year 3 Signing Bonus Included Medical/Vision/Dental/Life/Disability/401k PTO: 42 days Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school Board-certified or board-eligible Completion of an accredited Neurosurgeryfellowship program Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in Georgia Strong diagnostic and clinical skills with a patient-centered approach Excellent communication and collaboration skills Sponsorship:Able to sponsor H1b waivers About the Community Prime Location:Rooftop bars, dining, entertainment, art, shopping, and year-round water recreation Education:Excellent Private and magnet schools, plus home to Division I University Community Attributes:Diverse community with a variety of shopping and restaurants Easy Travel:Local Regional airport and only 1 hour to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport Reference Job #: NS 25783
