Join a dynamic healthcare organization in Brooklyn as an Emergency Medicine Physician! Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled physician to provide immediate, critical care in our busy Emergency Department serving a diverse community.
Position Highlights:
- Provide urgent medical care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, including physical exams and diagnostics
- Collaborate closely with nursing staff and healthcare team to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Monitor and adjust patient care for optimal outcomes
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and preventive strategies
- Stay current with advancements in emergency medicine
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- MD or DO, with postgraduate training from a U.S. accredited Emergency Medicine residency program
- Board Eligible or Certified in Emergency Medicine
- Unrestricted New York State medical license
- DEA registration or eligibility to obtain it
- Medicare/Medicaid eligibility or enrollment
- Minimum of 3 years of emergency medicine experience
- Excellent communication, bedside manners, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office
- No On Call
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary range: $290,000 - $350,000 (commensurate with experience)
- Sign-on bonus: $20,000
