An Interventional Radiologist specializes in minimally invasive, image-guided medical procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, and biopsies. Working in a hospital setting, they collaborate with a team of technologists and nurses to perform a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic interventions primarily for adult and geriatric patients. The role requires board certification, relevant medical licenses, and the ability to manage complex procedures using advanced imaging equipment.

8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Practice Details:
Avg. Cases per Day:
Exam Rooms: 1 angio suite, 1 procedure CT, 2 fluoro rooms, 1 dedicated US room
Support Staff:
️ 1 IR Technologist
️ 4 IR Nurses
1 Unit Assistant
Patient Demographic: Adult & Geriatric
Required Procedures:
In-Room Supervision of Fluoro Exams
Scribing Plain Films and Fluoro with RAs
️ Interventional Procedures:
Angioplasty, Stent, Embolization
Dialysis Fistula Interventions
CVAD Placement
Genitourinary Interventions
Intrathecal Chemotherapy
Needle Biopsy, Thrombolysis, Drain Placement
Botox & Ligament Pain Injections
Requirements:
Board Certified (ABR)
Michigan License Highly Preferred
ACLS & BLS Required
