Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg day shift position, requiring recent specialty experience and an AL or compact RN license.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital Med/Surg unit (Floor 6)
- Patient population consists of general medical-surgical cases
- Day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
- 13-week contract assignment
- RTO requests must be less than 1 week
- Local travelers living within a 50-mile radius are not eligible
- Returning travelers must meet rehire eligibility requirements
- First-time travelers are accepted if all other requirements are met
Requirements
- Active AL or compact RN license required
- At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment
- Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
