Practice Environment:• Free-standing Emergency Department• Annual ED volume: 9,000 visits• Average patients per day: 30• 20-bed facility• Fast Track available and staffed by MD• 0% of total ED volume treated via Fast Track

Staffing & Support:• Full Emergency Department staff support• No supervision of other providers required• ED staff does not respond to house codes• Hospitalist team writes admission orders

Facility Metrics:• 70% of total hospital admissions originate from the ED• 1% of ED patients admitted daily• 1% of ED patients transferred

Systems:• EMR: Cerner

Candidate Requirements:• Board Certified physician required (No BE)• Open to IM or FM physicians with 2+ years of recent Emergency Medicine experience• Active Michigan license required at time of name clear (no IMLC)• BLS - Required• Provider must be local - Required, no exceptions
