A commercial construction firm is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to oversee projects throughout the Southeast. This role is ideal for an experienced field leader who is confident operating independently, values consistency, and is comfortable with ground up projects. Project Superintendent Requirements and Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience as a Project Superintendent on commercial construction projects
- Proven success leading ground-up construction projects, with project values up to $30M
- OSHA 30 certification highly preferred
- Ability to manage multiple job sites and travel frequently as new projects are acquired
- Experience coordinating subcontractors, schedules, inspections, and site safety
- Strong communication skills with owners, architects, engineers, and internal teams
Project Superintendent Preferred Background and Skills
- Based in the Tampa, FL area preferred; candidates located elsewhere in the Southeast will be considered
- Experience with medical, healthcare, or medical device facility projects (including change-outs)
- Tech-savvy superintendent with experience using modern construction software, field technology, and digital reporting tools
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Solid understanding of negotiated-bid work (not hard bid–driven environments)
