Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a skilled RN for a Med/Surg Oncology position on a 35-bed unit requiring a KS or compact license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Work on a 35-bed oncology unit with general medical-surgical overflow
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• 13-week contract assignment
• Patients include both oncology and general med/surg cases
• Candidates must provide two separate professional references
• NIH Certification and MOAB De-Escalation Training are preferred
• COVID vaccination is not required for this assignment
• Local candidates are accepted but will receive a reduced rate according to facility radius rules
• All positions are auto offer
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required as per unit needs
• Candidates should discuss extension opportunities with manager 45 days before the end of contract

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license with Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience
• Must provide US Social Security Number and US home address (not international)
• Copy of driver’s license required for consideration
