Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens Opportunity
We are seeking a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician for a long-term Locum Tenens assignment with a high-performing emergency department. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, dependable, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Position Details:
- Setting: Inpatient Emergency Medicine
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Ongoing (long-term need)
- Shift Schedule:
- Day: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
- Night: 6:30 PM 7:00 AM
- APCs on site daily from 11:00 AM 11:00 PM
- Physician locums may also cover APC shifts as needed
- Support Staff: Number TBD, collaborative team environment
- Orientation: Full orientation required prior to first shift (Mon Fri)
- Call: No call responsibilities
- Holidays Covered: New Year s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve (half day), and Christmas Day
Practice & Facility Info:
- Work Environment: Inpatient only
- EMR System: Cerner
- Telehealth: No
- Malpractice: No providers with current or pending malpractice claims will be accepted
- Credentialing: Temp privileges available for candidates with a clean file
- Certifications Required:
- AHA ACLS
- AHA BLS
- AHA PALS
- ATLS (preferred but not required)
- Travel: Covered (via CWA)
