**Job Title: Caregiver**
**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team and provide essential support and assistance to individuals who require help with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have a nurturing personality and a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for those in their care. This role is pivotal in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our clients.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene.- Support clients in mobility, including helping them in and out of beds, chairs, and wheelchairs.- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into consideration any dietary restrictions or preferences.- Provide companionship and engage clients in recreational activities to promote mental and emotional wellness.- Monitor and report any changes in a client's condition to family members and healthcare professionals.- Administer medications as prescribed and assist with managing medical appointments.- Help with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up living areas to ensure a safe environment.- Maintain accurate records of care plans, activities, and any changes in health or behavior.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred.- A high school diploma or equivalent; certification in caregiving or an associate degree in a related field is a plus.- Demonstrated reliability and patience, with a strong sense of responsibility and integrity.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and confidentiality.- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required, depending on the assignment.- First aid and CPR certification are highly desirable.
