Requirements
- Active California RN License
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- ONC/Chemo certification
- EPIC charting experience
- Minimum 2 years of acute inpatient oncology experience
- Must be a W-2 employee of your staffing agency
- Flexibility to work holidays and float as required
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (Oncology Unit) to join our team on a 13-week contract. This position is ideal for an experienced RN who excels in inpatient acute oncology and IV chemotherapy care. You’ll work within a dynamic hospital setting, providing exceptional patient care with the flexibility to float to Med/Surg units as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients in an acute inpatient environment.
- Administer IV chemotherapy safely and in accordance with ONC/Chemo certification.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR.
- Float to other Med/Surg units as needed to support staffing needs.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and infection control standards.
