Job Details Start Date: August 28, 2025 Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Day and Night shifts available (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM; 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive emergency care to patients in a 161-bed acute care hospital. Work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including specialists in general surgery, OB-GYN, orthopedics, cardiology, and more. Manage airway and central line procedures as necessary. Utilize Cerner EMR for patient charting and documentation. Requirements Active Texas Medical License Board Certification preferred (ABFM or ABIM accepted) ACLS and ATLS certifications required if not board certified (AHA preferred) Experience with Cerner EMR system is advantageous. Additional Information Average daily census of 60 patients, with an annual volume of 21,929. 12 monitored beds, 2 fast track, and 6 hall beds in the Emergency Department. Support staff includes Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants. Vaccination requirements: flu, COVID, Hep B, MMR, Tdap, Varicella, TB.
