Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical Telemetry

Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.
ScheduleNight shift: 7 PM to 7 AM, every other weekend and holiday required.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and experience in cardiac monitoring and emergency response.
Responsibilities- Perform cardiac monitoring and emergency response including dysrhythmia interpretation and management.
- Administer IV therapy and perform phlebotomy, focusing on peripheral line care and management.
- Provide oxygen administration and non-invasive airway management.
- Implement isolation precautions as needed.
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7.
- Float to other units within skillset as required.
- Active New York Single State RN license (NY is not Compact).
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care nursing experience within the past 6 months.
- Must have experience with EPIC charting system.
