This role is for a General Surgeon primarily focused on teaching in a modern academic environment with minimal clinical duties. The position involves delivering lectures, small group instruction, simulation training, and student advising in a state-of-the-art facility. Teach in a state-of-the-art facility featuring a full simulation center, anatomy and OMM labs, and two 250-seat lecture halls. With an 80% teaching focus, minimal clinical burden, and a mission centered on serving Idaho and the Mountain West, this role offers impact, stability, and lifestyle in one of the most desirable regions in the country.
Position Highlights:
• 4 days on-campus teaching + 1 day of low-volume clinical work
• 80% teaching - lectures, small groups, simulation, clinical skills, and student advising
• Modern 94,000 sq. ft. academic campus with sim center, anatomy lab & OMM lab
• Competitive compensation ($250-300k) + full academic benefits
• $10k relocation, 240 hours PTO + 320 flex/sick time, $4k CME
