The Scheduling Coordinator manages and optimizes security staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient use of resources in a fast-paced security operation. They coordinate real-time scheduling changes, process time-off requests, and maintain attendance records to support continuous security services. Strong organizational, communication, and scheduling software skills are essential in this role to effectively handle multiple priorities and emergency coverage needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain master security staff schedules using scheduling software and Excel
- Process and coordinate Security Escort Requests (SERs) in real-time
- Handle call-offs and coordinate immediate coverage solutions
- Review and process time-off requests according to department policies
- Monitor overtime usage and implement strategies to minimize excess hours
- Maintain accurate attendance records and scheduling documentation
- Coordinate with security supervisors regarding staffing needs and coverage requirements
- Generate daily staffing reports and scheduling variance documentation
- Support last-minute scheduling changes and emergency coverage needs
- Assist with special events scheduling and additional coverage requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in scheduling, administrative support, or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Experience with scheduling software platforms
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
