A healthcare facility near Syracuse, NE is seeking a Board Certified Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Physician for a locum tenens position. Position Details:- Location: Near Syracuse, Nebraska
- Shift Type: Days with after-hours and weekend on-call responsibilities
- On Call: Nightly and weekend calls required
- Availability: October, November, and December
- Flexible scheduling: 3-5 days over weekends or up to a full week at a time
- Two weeks per month, with possible separation
- Hours:
- Clinic: 8:30 a.m. 5:00 p.m.
- Call handoff: 8:00 a.m. (weekends: Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
Job Responsibilities:- Clinical Duties:
- Maternal fetal medicine consults in clinic
- Reading ultrasounds for MFM and general obstetrics
- Supporting inpatient ultrasound consultations
- Private delivery patient consultations and nurse-midwife backup (occasional)
- Clinic patient load: 15-20 patients/day
- Hospital Responsibilities:
- Standard maternal fetal medicine procedures in a hospital setting (Labor & Delivery, Postpartum)
Requirements:- Board Certified OB/GYN with MFM Subspecialty Required
- Active Nebraska License Highly Preferred
- OB/GYN Residency & MFM Fellowship Required
- Certifications: Active BLS, DEA, NRP Required
- Clean Malpractice/Background Highly Preferred
- Local candidates (within driving distance) Highly Preferred
- Must be available for the dates specified in the job description
Compensation and Benefits:- Travel and Lodging:
- Air travel, rental cars, and mileage reimbursed according to specific guidelines
- Lodging expenses covered, with reimbursement up to 1.5x the standard rate
