Atlanta Med/Surg RN Job Details

• Setting: Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg), Extended Recovery, Outpatient Surgery
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (travel nursing contract)
• Start Date: December 22, 2025
• End Date: March 21, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00pm – 7:00am), 3 shifts/week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1570-$1610
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or compact state)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• Ability to work at least one major holiday (Christmas Day or New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve) during assignment
• No local candidates within 50 miles of Atlanta, GA

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients in an outpatient surgical recovery setting
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status and clinical progress
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care, discharge instructions, and recovery expectations
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and compliant environment for patients and staff
