Per Mar Security is seeking a candidates to be available as a flex security officer. Flex security officers assist with site coverage for call-offs, vacations, and temporary openings.
Ideal candidate would preferably be based out of Bloomington, with some coverage for the Champaign and Peoria areas as well. Must have the availability, and flexibility, to cover an array of schedules and work sites.
Pay is a $20.00/hr flat rate regardless of work site.
A valid driver's license, as well as reliable transportation required. Mileage reimbursement is offered for travel outside of the Bloomington Metro area.
PERC is desired but not required.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monitor campus to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
- Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.
- Warn violators of campus rules, regulations, and policies.
- Address issues regarding suspicious or criminal acts
- Report any facility issues to the appropriate department.
- Request emergency personnel for high risk situations
- Other duties as assigned by site supervisor.
Qualifications:
- 18 years of age or older
- Familiarity with security equipment
- Ability to handle physical duties of the position.
- Strong attention to detail
- Must possess the values important to Per Mar Security – Integrity, Communication, Excellent Service, and Accountability.
- Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
