Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will join our team on the orthopedic unit, providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. The unit is equipped with 32 individual rooms and is supported by a dedicated staff of RNs, LPNs, PCTs, and a Health Unit Coordinator.
Responsibilities- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Perform dressing changes, suture/staple removal, Foley catheter insertion, and maintenance of wound vacs.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the charge RN.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Active NC License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Hospital experience is preferred; orthopedic experience is a plus.
