Key Responsibilities:
- Cardiothoracic Surgery: Provide comprehensive surgical care in a fast-paced environment with a focus on Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) and other critical procedures.
- Patient Load: Manage an average patient volume of 5 cases, ensuring high-quality surgical outcomes.
- Call Coverage: Provide 24-hour call coverage to support a solo surgeon in a busy hospital setting.
- Collaboration with Support Staff: Work closely with a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to deliver efficient patient care and surgical support.
Requirements:
- Board Certification: Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
- Experience with CABG: Proficiency in Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) is required for this role.
- Licensing: Must possess an active Indiana medical license or be able to obtain one promptly.
- EMR System: Familiarity with eClinicalWorks (eCW) is preferred.
- Credentialing Timeframe: Candidates must be prepared for a streamlined credentialing process to ensure immediate placement.
