Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York healthcare job)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (November 24, 2025 – February 23, 2026)
• Healthcare Setting: Labor & Delivery Unit
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (3 shifts per week)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2200 - $2360
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license (New York State or compact license required)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Experience floating to Post-Partum unit required
• Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) required
• Current BLS certification

Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive patient care in the Labor & Delivery unit
• Float to Post-Partum unit as needed to provide clinical support
• Monitor and assess mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and recovery
• Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate and support patients and families during the childbirth process
