As an Engineer II - Deals Experience and Pricing, you’ll play a key role in the end-to-end implementation of our deals and pricing experience, driving engineering solutions that have a real impact on the customers/business. Your day-to-day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams and making critical technical decisions to optimize our platforms. What you’ll do
- Work with product teams to refine requirements and propose customer-focused solutions.
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance, and configurable platforms aligned with future needs leveraging react, react native, nextjs.
- Maintain high standards of quality and oversee deployment and production monitoring of changes.
- Support go-live events for sales and promotions to ensure smooth product functionality for customers.
- Make critical technical decisions to optimize pricing and deal experiences across platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in a highly quantitative field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Math, Operations Research, etc).
- 3 or more years of experience building scalable, high-performance mobile and/or web applications using React, React Native, and Next.js.
- 4 or more years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, including advanced concepts like asynchronous programming, ES6+, and modular architecture.
- Solid understanding of state management (Redux, Recoil, or Context API) and component-driven development.
- Hands-on experience with automated UI and end-to-end testing frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, Jest, Detox).
- Strong knowledge of web performance optimization, accessibility standards (WCAG), and responsive design principles.
- Experience with modern reusable UI frameworks and design systems (Material UI, Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap).
- Familiarity with SSR/SSG and API integration in Next.js for high-performance applications.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud deployment (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Understanding of security best practices for front-end applications (e.g., , XSS prevention, CSP).
- Strong troubleshoot and debug issues using tools such as Splunk, Kibana, Grafana, and Dynatrace.
- Ability to profile and optimize rendering performance for large-scale web and mobile apps.
- Experience with Android and iOS native development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced, agile environments.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with product, design, and backend teams.
