Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with strong ortho and robotics experience, holding a SD or compact RN license, for a circulating role on 10-hour day shifts.
Responsibilities
- Work in an acute care setting as an OR Circulating RN
- Primary focus on orthopedic cases including total joints, MAKO robotics, arthroscopy, spine, foot and ankle, hand, and ORIF, with some general, ENT, GYN, and plastics cases
- 11 OR suites and 1 GI suite with 30-50 cases per day
- Uses MAKO robotic system and Epic EMR
- Shift is 10-hour days with call requirements
- No weekend or floating requirements
- Scrubs provided in ceil blue
- Position focuses on circulating duties for a primarily orthopedic case load with occasional general, ENT, GYN, and plastics cases
- Exposure to advanced robotics and orthopedic procedures
- Returning employees must not have worked for any Sanford Health location within the last 6 months
- All clinicians must badge in and out for each shift
- Local candidates within 80 miles may be accepted at a reduced rate
- 8 hours of orientation provided
Requirements
- Active SD or compact RN license required
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum of 3 years recent circulating RN experience in the OR
- Strong orthopedic experience and proficiency in total joints and arthroscopy required
- MAKO robotics experience highly preferred
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
