Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Outpatient Physical Therapist for a full-time assignment requiring a Colorado PT license and BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Outpatient clinic setting with a focus on rehabilitation therapy
- Position is based at a clinic in Basalt, Colorado
- Work a schedule of four 10-hour days per week, with weekdays varying
- Patient population includes individuals with a wide variety of diagnoses requiring physical rehabilitation
- Responsibilities include evaluation, developing and implementing treatment plans, and educating patients and caregivers on home exercise programs
- Opportunity to rent newly remodeled, fully furnished housing close to the workplace is available for travelers during the assignment, subject to availability
- No local candidates; candidates must live at least 75 miles away from the facility
- Work as part of an expanded rehab staff to improve patient access and reduce wait times
Requirements
- Current Colorado Physical Therapy license or Compact license required if applicable
- Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy required
- Minimum 2 years of recent outpatient physical therapy experience required; 3-5 years preferred
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
- Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
