Position Details:- Job Title: Locum - Pediatrics Physician
- Location: Near Essexville, MI
- Start Date: November 27, 2024, 7:00 AM
- End Date: January 2, 2025, 7:00 AM
- Additional Dates: Future opportunity available from September 20, 2025 - October 12, 2025
- Shift Type: Varied shifts with weekend and on-call requirements
- Patients per Day: Average 1-2 deliveries per day
Responsibilities:- Provide coverage for labor and delivery (L&D) during the assignment period
- Attendance at cesarean sections and high-risk deliveries
- Routine newborn care in a Level I nursery
- Management of acute conditions, including volume and blood pressure issues
- Perform circumcisions as needed
Job Requirements:- Board Certified in Pediatrics (No Board Eligibility)
- Michigan Medical License & CSR required at submission
- BLS Certification required
- Must be local or willing to commute, as local candidates are highly preferred
- Clean background check for quick credentialing
- Must be COVID-19 vaccinated
- DEA license with verbal confirmation required at the time of name clearance
Additional Information:- Malpractice insurance must be included in the proposed rate
- On-call shifts are part of the assignment, including 24-hour holiday coverage
- Must use reverse billing with Kronos for clocking in/out no timesheets
- No reimbursement for medical staff fees or third-party lodging bookings
