Labor & Delivery RN Job Details

• Location: Nashville, Tennessee (37203) – Tennessee nursing jobs
• Unit: Labor & Delivery (12 beds)
• Assignment Type: Travel RN
• Start Date: October 6, 2025
• End Date: January 5, 2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1470 - $1570
• Scheduling: 3 weekend shifts and 1 call shift required during assignment
• Dress Code: Ceil Blue, Navy Blue, or Gray scrubs (not provided by hospital)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate or CEFM
• Experience with CPN and Meditach documentation systems preferred
• Ability to float to other clinical units as needed

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive patient care to laboring mothers and provide immediate newborn care
• Circulate and recover C-section patients in a clinical setting
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&C, cerclage, epidural anesthesia, and tub labor
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including RNs, unit secretaries, and OR techs
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and participate in shared decision-making for patient care
• Provide excellent patient experiences in a supportive and innovative healthcare environment
