Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring a TX or compact RN license, recent Epic experience, and ACLS/BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the Cath Lab within a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:00
- Call is required on weeknights from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. and on weekends from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Epic EMR is used and recent experience within the last 6 months is required
- No local candidates accepted; must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- RNs must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays if needed
- No more than 3 days of requested time off will be approved; no RTO allowed during the first week of orientation
- No travel pairs or groups will be considered
- Modules for orientation are completed onsite and recorded by transcript
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum of 2 years recent Cath Lab RN experience required
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Recent experience with Epic EMR within the last 6 months required
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Former permanent staff must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
