American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position in Vermont requiring a compact or VT RN license and 2+ years of recent ED experience.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
- Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts
- Serves approximately 14,000 patient visits annually
- No block scheduling allowed
- Weekend and on-call requirements to be determined
- Local travelers residing within 50 miles are not eligible
- Responsible for triaging patients and delivering emergency nursing care
- All requested time off (RTO) must be included at the time of application, with no more than 5 days allowed
- Holiday RTO is not available for this assignment
- First-time travelers are not excluded but travel experience is preferred
- Block scheduling requests will not be considered
- Active VT or compact RN license required
- Current ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and TNCC required at the time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of current ED experience in a hospital setting required
- Minimum 3 months of prior travel experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Must have own vehicle
- Perm address must be included in application profile
- One supervisory signed reference from the past two years required
