Long Term Opportunity needed for Anesthesiologist in West Virginia! Approximately 2 hours from Washington! We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Locums Board Certified Anesthesiologist to join the float pool team. This opportunity offers a flexible contract length of 6 to 12 months, beginning as soon as the candidate is credentialed. The position involves working variable shifts, primarily starting at 7 AM and continuing until all scheduled cases are completed. Responsibilities include: Providing anesthesia care across a full spectrum of surgical procedures, with a focus on obstetrics and pediatrics. Collaborating with a team of Anesthesia Physicians and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs). Covering approximately 4 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) positions per month. Managing a diverse patient population across all age groups in a Level 1 trauma center environment. Key Qualifications: Board Certification in Anesthesiology is mandatory. Active or eligible for a West Virginia state license, with the potential for a temporary license if qualified. Possession of DEA registration. Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required. Experience with electronic medical records, specifically Cerner, is advantageous. Proficiency in performing epidurals and OB anesthesia, with the capability to supervise a 4/1 ratio.
