Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2 years of recent specialty experience and CPI certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Care Center at a hospital setting
• Patient population includes emergency and acute care cases
• Day shifts from 6:45AM to 7:15PM
• 13-week travel contract
• May substitute SAMA, MAB, or ACPMA certifications for CPI if required by facility
• Responsibilities include providing patient care to emergency and critically ill patients and responding to rapid changes in patient condition
• Will be part of a multidisciplinary emergency care team
• Date of birth documentation required for consideration

Requirements

• Active RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent emergency department experience
• Current certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the last 12 months
• U.S. Social Security Number required (no Canadian SSNs accepted)
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
