The Pulmonary Function Therapist is responsible for conducting precise pulmonary function tests to assess patients' lung health, working closely with healthcare staff to ensure quality and patient comfort. This role requires certified respiratory therapy credentials, relevant licensure, and experience in pulmonary testing with a focus on clinical excellence and effective communication. The position is based at St. Peter's Health in Helena, Montana, and involves data entry and collaboration in a mission-driven healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive pulmonary function tests with attention to precision and patient-centered care
Uphold quality control measures in accordance with department protocols
Communicate effectively with patients and their families during high-stress situations
Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
Accurately input patient data using electronic health systems
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years in Pulmonary Function Testing, including quality control practices
Education: Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
Licensure: Active Montana Respiratory Care Practitioner license required
Certifications: Current BLS certification preferred (or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment)
Preferred: Registered Pulmonary Therapist designation
