Position Description:
HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Travel Surgical Technologist II for a contract opportunity in Albany, NY. This position requires advanced surgical experience across multiple specialties including cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular surgery. The Surgical Technologist II performs technical support in the operating room, ensuring all instruments, implants, and equipment are correctly prepared and maintained. This role may include on-call coverage as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in set-up, instrumentation, and intraoperative support for surgical procedures.

• Maintain sterile field and ensure proper handling of surgical instruments.

• Demonstrate proficiency in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular procedures.

• Accurately document instruments, sponges, and implants.

• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency.

• Adhere to hospital, department, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Required at submission

• 2+ years surgical tech experience – Required

• Strong multi-specialty experience (Cardiac, Neuro, Thoracic, Ortho, Vascular) – Required

• Previous travel experience – Preferred
