Job Details:
• Work 3x12 night shifts as part of Float Pool MS/Tele unit
• Must have cardiac experience and 2 years of nursing experience required
• Patient ratios of 1:5 for both days and nights
• Float between 2 different units within a 12-hour shift as needed
• Weekend coverage required
• Massachusetts nursing license must be in hand at time of submission
• Standard contract length is 14 weeks
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Skills required: interpretation of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, manage cardiac drips (no titration), management of dysrhythmias, telemetry, titration of insulin drips, Cardizem drips, Amiodarone drips GTT experience
• Float pool experience preferred
• Cerner charting system experience preferred but not required
• Care for patients in medical, surgical, and observation units
• Float pool is based out of McCann unit
