Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a day shift position with call rotation, requiring BLS and ARRT certification.
Responsibilities
- Work in a diagnostic imaging department specializing in CT and radiologic technology
- Day shifts with participation in a call rotation
- Assignments are 13 weeks in length
- Patient population includes both pediatric and geriatric patients
- Overnight housing accommodations available for out-of-town employees
- Perform radiographic procedures under the supervision of the Imaging Director and radiologist
- Collaborate with other departments for effective patient care
- Participate in performance improvement activities and adhere to safety and infection control policies
- Demonstrate teamwork, professional courtesy, and adaptability to change
- Other duties as directed
Requirements
- Graduation from an approved school of radiology technology
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Active state license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification
- Must maintain required continuing education credits for ARRT
- Ability to work overtime and participate in on-call rotation
- Understanding of age-related developmental issues for pediatric and geriatric patients
